A: No.

09:30: He's arrived!

11:10 - Oh dear! He thought the floor was dry, so I made him take up the damp-proof membrane & it was wet underneath! Damn!

    Turns out that the floor wasn't allowed to dy-out properly when we had it levelled with a concrete screed 6 years ago -- amazing that the (it turns out) very cheap laminate lasted so long!

    Now nearly dry after some small repairs and a week of running the dehumidifier
