Dry (ish) but not warm: 14C. Morning taken up with GP visits: he's happy = I'm happy (not going to mess about with BP medication, despite what hospital [wrongly] suggested). All good.
Counting down to Nice (1 week). I finished cuttingg the last lawn. Ali 'painted' the big shed (green coloured wood preservative).
Helen came to be shown how to use the new alarm system (it does seem to be OK now - see earlier blog).
We ate:
Long-cooked red cabbage (they're not really a deep colour at this time of year, but still tasty)
Gammon, fried with onions and mushroom then pasta & broad beans added - the whole thing tasted pretty spectacular :)
Then went to the Black Diamond Folk Club to see Benny Graham -- not my favourite performer, but good to get out and about.
