Dry all day, but quite cool, Max. 17C. Cloudy until
around 6:30 when the sun made a short appearance. At least it’s not raining.
Busy day. Food shopping, housework (with the new vacuum
cleaner) and cooking, since we had a friend coming for dinner.
We ate:
Olives & peanuts
Salmon rillettes,
crostini, green salad
Chicken roulade (chicken
around roasted red peppers, wrapped in pancetta: first poached, then fried to
crisp the pancetta), savoury couscous
(onions, shallots, chilli, tomatoes, garlic) and a tomato and basil sauce
Cheeses
Raspberry soufflé
