Sunday

Warm - 19C (well, warm by this week's standards). Gave up reading a book where the author mis-used apostrophes (e.g. for plurals [he'd have said 'plural's]), too distracting/irritating.

Went for a walk in Selly Oak Park - but really to look at the remains of the Dudley No 2 canal that used to link Selly Oak to Netherton missing out the City and was also the home of the Lapal tunnel (Really long and narrow and collapsed a long time ago). We found a bridge in pretty-good repair:

So only walked about 1.25 miles.

We ate:

Salmon rillettes (modified from Saturday, added some cream)
Pork fillet braised in apple juice with saffron bread sauce, broad beans, tenderstem broccoli, french beans and an apple juice/stock reduction.
