A busy day; food shopping, then into Birmingham so that Ali could buy slippers. Sunny, but far from warm.
In the evening, we walked to Buonissimo in Harborne in the evening - 2.5 miles! Pretty tired when we arrived, but revived with prosecco! We were welcomed by the Maitre d' who has started to recognise us. Sat upstairs at a very nice table and had good, prompt service.
We ate:
Bresaola with mozzarella
Smoked salmon with grapefruit (so I couldn't eat it!)
Filetto al Vino Rosso e Porcini x 2
Misto di Pasticcini Per Due Persone
A selection of six different mini Italian desserts. The platter includes the authentic Sicilian cannolo, sfogliatella napoletana, a mini wedge of cherry cake and a few others to keep you guessing - perfect to share.
